The Task:
To identify and fix revenue leakage for LaYinka Sanni Ltd.
The How:
Through surveys, community outreach, audits, and analytical tools like Google Analytics, I gathered data insights that revealed that poor distribution of resources within the organisation was the most significant cause of leakage.
I implemented a strategy that prioritised customer needs and production workflows. Despite the market turbulence and uncertainty caused by COVID-19, we increased revenue by 900% (min-max).
The Task:
Working for Forward Slash, we were tasked with developing a social media strategy for collaborative album, Insomnia, featuring Skepta, Chip, and Young Adz.
The How:
In response to the rapid development of the COVID-19 pandemic, our original social strategy, which included live activations and in-person events, had to be modified. Therefore, we prioritized social, leveraging the artists’ social media reach by emphasizing the ‘surprise’ element of the announcement.
The campaign achieved 3.5M YouTube views within 10 days of its release and debuted at No.1 on the UK Official Independent Album Chart.
As a natural collaborator, I have nurtured partnerships and relationships with 100s of creators, influencers, and public figures around the globe.
Dedicated to uplifting and inspiring others, I work to educate and empower those of underrepresented backgrounds in the creator space. Providing affordable, sometimes free, digital solutions and resources to creatives and small businesses. I also deliver consultations, training and workshops, working with creators to develop and implement a master vision and digital strategy to achieve their growth goals.
With collaborative partnerships and relationships with 100s of creators, influencers, and public figures around the globe, my work has been featured in festivals, newspapers, on the radio and on television through publications like the Metro, Buzzfeed, Bustle, BBC and more.
I’ve collaborated and worked with creators and brands in the Middle East, Africa, America, and Europe including BBC, Johra Jewellery, Native Dubai, Forward Slash, Soloport and the office of the Vice-President of Nigeria.
A result of sharing my passion for people, genius products, and culture I have built a community of over 3000 followers across my social media channels. Through this community, I have been able to expand my network, create opportunities, and discover talent.
The Task:
I’ve been tasked with updating Sisters in Business’ current directory. With a rapidly growing community of more than 10,000, the current functionality no longer meets the needs of its users or the business. The main objective is to develop new features and increase monetisation routes.
The How:
This project is currently in progress.
