Home

And when they call on me to describe my home

Facing a direction my heart longs for

Do I place a cloth approximately 2by4

Never have I sought guidance

And found it superior elsewhere

Than when my feet stood firm

Nor have I felt more gratification

Than when my back bent straight

And when my shoulders buckle from the world

And my heart overflows with longing

And my soul yearns to escape

I am yet to find solace more satisfying

Than when I bury my face in the ground

Therein lies my home

In Allah I find a Guardian

In Sujuud I find serenity.

In Islam I find mercy
